Park Homes

We highly recommend your gas appliances are checked every year by a LPG Gas Safe registered engineer. Although it is not a legal requirement unless you are a landlord, this will give you peace of mind and help keep your family safe. We will be able to spot any issues or causes for concern. These can then be rectified quickly, before any more damage is caused.

If you are purchasing or recently moved into your park home it is a good idea to have your boiler serviced. We offer demonstrations on how to use the gas appliances, including the storage, positioning and exchange of LPG cylinders. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

If you smell gas or think there might be a gas leak:

  • If it is safe to do so, turn off the gas at the cylinder

  • Extinguish naked flames

  • Leave the accommodation, ventilate by opening windows and doors

  • Seek medical advice if you feel unwell

  • You can also contact the gas supplier; the site owner may also have gas safety responsibilities

  • Do not turn the gas at the cylinder back on until the leak has been dealt with by a Gas Safe registered engineer
